Yeah, we went and named a soap after a Ft Wayne Indiana icon with the name Harry Baals (1886-1954), which is in fact pronounced Balls. When deciding on a proper fragrance for this special soap, we felt the only right choice would be to scent it in in Cherry Almond...Nuts! lol.

Harry Baals served as a Ft Wayne mayor from 1932-1947, and from 1951 til his death.

There is a story that says Ft Wayne radio newscaster Bob Chase, of WOWO-am, relates a story that he once pronounced the mayors name “Bales.” Mayor Baals personally called him following the broadcast to correct his pronunciation, saying, “Son, this is your Mayor, I pronounce my name ‘Balls’.” (source Wikipedia). His first wifes name was Minnie Baals.
